At SHARANYA, our Goddess Temple survives because of you, because of your support. For all of the ways in which you love the Divine and make Her manifest, we are deeply grateful.

There are many ways for you to be a part of our mission and vision. You can come join with us for worship. You can be with us in community. We also have many ongoing projects fostered and facilitated by the generosity of our growing community to which you can contribute or make a tax-deductible donation. Read about our work below, and consider volunteering a special talent, skill, or making an offering today.

Can I make a donation for Maa's worship if I live outside the Bay Area or can't attend this month?
• Jai Maa! Absolutely. Should you wish to contribute to the worship, know that we will call your name into circle so that your intention will be with Maa and held by community in sacred space. We can also mail you a flower from the ceremony to put on your altar if you desire. Just let us know with your donation and be sure to provide a current mailing address. A suggested amount is noted below; please contribute what you wish.

SHARANYA in Action: Engaged Spirituality

Through SHARANYA in Action, we seek to affirm spirituality as a motivator for social change. In addition to our programs in the US, we also reach out to community-based and spiritual organizations in India, particularly to those helping impoverished women and children to promote right livelihood and literacy. We help by coordinating with other organizations to bring school supplies, volunteers, educational pamphlets and other much-needed items. Your tax-deductible donation of $11, $21, $51, $101 (all sacred numbers for the goddess) or more will go a long way toward helping us with these projects, both here at home and in South Asia. Give whatever you wish...all contributions are graciously accepted and sincerely appreciated!

While we can not earmark funds for specific overseas organizations or projects, we are committed to following your wishes regarding the purchase of materials or other contributions to support our overall efforts.

Our Temple Project:
Creating Community & Sacred Home Space

Imagine a place in community that is just for Goddess....well, not just for Goddess, but for everyone who loves and honors Her. A place that considers all those who enter as equals, and which serves as a meeting place for those who want a beautiful sanctuary for their most sacred circles and powerful rites, initiations, weddings, educational gatherings, and other events.

We've been dreaming of such a place, and have set a goal of creating a public Goddess Temple in the San Francisco Bay Area open to everyone. It will support itself through classes, affordable rental fees for public use, a non-profit storefront selling hand-picked items from our pilgrimages around the world (as well as items by local artists), public events, and community donations.

Right now, we are in the midst of raising funds to establish the space, and are actively looking for suitable locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you would like to donate funds, time and expertise, or even a storefront space, please email us. If you have specific ideas on where we could locate, we'd really love to hear from you!
